Business Development Manager - Charlotte, NCNext Level Technician is seeking a Business Development Manager in Charlotte, NC to help expand our presence in the data center and infrastructure market. The ideal candidate has direct experience working with general contractors, electrical contractors, low-voltage contractors, fiber providers, owner representatives, or other organizations involved in data center construction and infrastructure projects. This role is focused on developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping win new cabling, fiber, and infrastructure work.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, owner representatives, and other key decision makersIdentify upcoming data center, fiber, cabling, and infrastructure opportunitiesGet involved in projects before they reach the open bidding stageCreate introductions and open doors within the data center and construction ecosystemWork alongside our estimating, operations, and leadership teams to pursue and close opportunitiesHelp expand our presence within the data center infrastructure marketRequired BackgroundExperience working with or selling into the data center construction industryExperience working with general contractors, electrical contractors, infrastructure contractors, or owner-side teamsUnderstanding of how infrastructure, cabling, fiber, and low-voltage projects are sourced and awardedExisting industry relationships and network preferredStrong communication and relationship-building skillsStrong aptitude for working with new technology stacks, including AI, Google Sheets, and ZoomInfo.CompensationCommensurate with experienceBase salary plus commissionSignificant incentive compensation available for originating and closing new infrastructure opportunitiesPath to a long-term leadership role for the right candidateAbout Next Level TechnicianNext Level Technician connects job-ready low voltage technicians with top employers.
