Remote Full Time Management & Operations

Overview

Our client is looking for a Business Development Representative to join their team.

We are not considering candidates in Pacific Time Zone

First year earnings $65k - $75k

What you will do:

You’ll start by learning the business, the insurance products, and the client base — with exposure to team meetings, training, and hands‑on experience before becoming licensed. The company will sponsor your licensing process, which involves about a week of fast-paced coursework followed by the state exam. Expect about a 90‑day ramp‑up period to get fully licensed and ready to sell. During this time you will:

  • Research and document new employer group and broker opportunities in Zoho CRM.
  • Support lead qualification and schedule discovery calls for senior sales executives.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and follow up on assigned leads.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of activity, outcomes, and pipeline status.
  • Participate in training, shadowing, and licensing preparation.
  • Represent our company professionally at events.

Once licensed, you will:

  • Make 50–100+ outbound calls per day to set meetings and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Engage with employers to promote and support group insurance enrollment.
  • Build relationships with staffing and other industry clients — we've already developed strong client lists, so your focus will be relationship‑building and follow‑up, not cold sourcing.
  • Earn recurring commissions on each account — meaning you benefit from renewals and long‑term client success.

We're looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Clear, professional communicator (verbal and written).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in process.
  • Tech‑savvy; CRM experience preferred.
  • Positive, resilient, and persistent in outreach.
  • Strong desire to learn and pursue licensing.

Work Environment & Expectations

  • 100% remote with company‑provided equipment.
  • Accountability to the Sales Manager in all outreaches.
  • Compliance‑first: strict adherence to pre‑licensing restrictions.
  • Professional, concise, and respectful in all interactions.
  • Committed to growth, feedback, and the mission of building smarter, stronger, sustainable foundations.
