About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Data Analyst to support data migration, transformation, and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business requirements, data analysis, data mapping, data validation, and stakeholder management .

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
• Work with business and technical teams to define data needs and business rules.
• Support data migration, transformation, mapping, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Analyze source and target data to identify gaps, duplicates, and data quality issues.
• Develop BRDs, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support UAT, migration testing, data validation, and post-migration verification.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data analysis using Advanced Excel and/or Power BI .
• Use SQL to query, analyze, validate, and reconcile data.
• Communicate data issues, findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Work in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or Data Analyst .
• Experience with data migration, transformation, or system implementation .
• Strong SQL and Advanced Excel skills.
• Excel: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas, and data visualization .
• Experience with data mapping, data quality, validation, and reconciliation .
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience with UAT, Agile/Scrum, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Power BI or Tableau
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• ETL/ELT and data integration concepts
• Data warehouse/data lake experience
• Experience with enterprise data or application migrations
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Scrum certification is a plus
