Business Banker OpportunityAngott Search Group is pleased to partner with a community bank client (under $1B in assets) serving the Chippewa Valley region in the search for a business banker.This opportunity is ideal for a commercially focused professional who thrives on building relationships, driving new business, and maintaining a strong presence in the local market. The organization is deeply community-oriented and values bankers who are visible, engaged, and committed to supporting local businesses.Responsibilities:Develop new business relationships and grow a commercial loan portfolio through proactive outreach and networking.Originate and structure commercial loans, including C&I and CRE transactions.Manage and expand existing client relationships by identifying cross-sell opportunities.Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and overall creditworthiness of borrowers.Partner with credit and internal teams to ensure sound underwriting and timely loan approvals.Represent the bank at community events, industry functions, and local organizations.Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and local business conditions.Qualifications:3+ years of commercial lending or business banking experience.Demonstrated success in business development and originating new commercial loans (C&I, CRE, etc.).Strong credit analysis and financial acumen.Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.Active involvement in or willingness to engage with the local community.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
