Position: Business Application Analyst (Microsoft modules)

Location: Paramus NJ 07652 - 2-3x a week onsite

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Rate: $55-65 hourly

Schedule: M-F 9-5

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a consultative Application Analyst who can bridge the gap between technology and operations. The ideal candidate has strong application support and workflow optimization experience, enjoys solving complex technical and process-related issues, and can effectively partner with stakeholders across the organization. This person should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, leading projects, supporting end users, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates coming from healthcare IT, Epic, clinical applications, or enterprise application support environments will stand out. We are looking for someone who is analytical, customer-focused, collaborative, and able to translate operational challenges into effective system solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in application support, information systems, healthcare IT, or related technical environments

• 3+ years supporting Microsoft 365 applications in a business or enterprise environment

• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 solutions

• Experience with workflow analysis, application configuration, and system support

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions

• Experience supporting end users, managing incidents, and resolving complex application issues

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of project management experience

• Healthcare systems or hospital IT experience

• Experience leading testing efforts, including test planning and validation

• Experience creating and delivering end-user training

• Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives

• Experience mentoring junior analysts or team members

• Relevant application certifications

$55 to $65

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
