Financial Markets Data AnalystWe are seeking a Financial Markets Data Analyst to join our IT group focused on Private Credit. This role involves evaluating and optimizing various financial market data feeds to improve the investment team's process and explore how market data can support the automation and analysis of business workflows using AI.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and assess various financial market data feeds to identify valuable insights for the investment and asset management teams.Develop and maintain data processing systems to ensure efficient handling of real-time and historical market dataCreate dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to present complex financial data in an easily digestible formatCollaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and project goals, ensuring alignment with investment strategiesExplore and implement innovative ways to leverage Generative AI in financial data analysis and insights generation.Evaluate and recommend new data sources and vendors to enhance our market intelligence capabilities.Experience with financial databases/APIs like Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, Intex, S&P, Markit, Moody's Ratings etcEnable the development of API's / data warehouse solutions for consumption by multiple business functions / internal IT team.Liaison with Market data vendors to understand and analyze their offering and determine applicability to business needs.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related fieldStrong experience in financial markets data analysis, preferably within an IT or quantitative roleProficiency in programming languages such as SQL or high proficiency in ExcelSolid understanding of financial instruments, market microstructure, and economic indicatorsDemonstrated interest and knowledge in Generative AI and its applications in financial analysis.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and storageThe ideal candidate will have a passion for financial markets, a deep understanding of various data types provided by vendors, and the ability to leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive investment insights.
