Business AnalystOur mission is to create a portfolio of SaaS products and professional services that address the needs of payers and providers operating under value-based risk contracts. The Business Analyst will be an integral member of Client's growing consulting services team.Provide analytical and consulting support during consulting engagements that will include:Evaluate health plans value based contracting strategy including contract structure, reporting and data management capabilities, settlement process and validation, and provider performance improvement.Provide data analysis services ensure settlement accuracy, enhanced reporting functionality and identify improvement opportunitiesAssist in drafting and editing client presentations and reportsConduct research regarding trends in value based contracting, quality measurement, clinical data collection, reporting tools and vendor products and servicesProvide support for the Client sales efforts, as requested.Required Experience:· Strong analytical capability as demonstrated by prior experience and or academic projects· Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and clients· Demonstrated aptitude at using advanced computer software including databases, OLAP tools and statistical software· Experience in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access· Excellent written and oral communication skills, including in the face of challenging situations· Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record· Strong interest in health care and health reform· A willingness or ability to travel as needed
