These programs facilitate the identification, assessment, monitoring, and treatment and reporting of all types of risks Client faces.Your Role And ResponsibilitiesGRM is seeking a Specialist to assist in the implementation of the global Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) tool, practices, and policies; specifically assuming critical business analyst and project management roles to implement a new tool.
This is a contract role which will end at the end of 2023 and report to the Head of GRC Solutions and will be part of the GRM team.As a Specialist (Contractor), your responsibilities will include:Assessing and documenting requirements and helping to create templates, framework, and workflows within the global toolIdentifying standard reference data including developing a common process, risk and control taxonomy and implement into the new toolFacilitating the creation of, tracking, and maintaining a clearly – articulated implementation planAssisting in creating new reports and dashboards based on business needsDeveloping and enhancing enterprise risk reporting for boards, executive management and business areas. Identifying opportunities to standardize reporting.Ensuring risk data is managed and utilized consistently.Working closely with business units’ and expert functions’ representatives to implement a best practice solutionCommunicating project objectives, framework, status and issues to internal (GRM leadership) and external (client) audiences, as appropriate.Identifying opportunities and developing training to implement and re-enforce a pro-active risk culture specifically utilizing the GRC tool.Providing guidance and/or training to the process and control owners on use of client's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool.Ensuring the GRC tool provides the appropriate level of support and efficiencies for GRM’s programs.Effectively communicating with broader global risk team and partner with peers to ensure consistency of approach and awareness of issues, challenges, and opportunities.Pro-actively engage other partners of the GRC tool including SOX, Compliance and Information Security to support an integrated approach to risk management and consistent implementation of the new GRC tool.Required Skills And CompetenciesBA/BS or equivalent preferred.6+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, and/or audit tool implementation in the financial services industry (capital markets or financial technology)Previous experience in GRC application is a plus.Knowledge and experience portraying analytical information in visual ways.High attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to develop trusted working relationships at all levels of the organization.Generates energy and commitmentExcellent communication and facilitation with experience developing and facilitating training programs.Excellent project management and organizational skills with experience in implementing large enterprise-wide projects.
