Business AnalystLocation: Canonsburg, PA Pay Rate: $45/hr Schedule: Hybrid (Work from Home Monday & Friday | In Office Tuesday–Thursday)Position SummaryThe Business Analyst III plays a strategic role in delivering advanced data analysis, modeling, and reporting to support enterprise-wide decision-making. This individual partners cross-functionally to generate actionable insights that enhance operational performance, improve customer analytics, drive revenue growth, and increase organizational efficiency.This role requires a highly analytical professional who can translate complex datasets into clear business recommendations while influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy advanced modeling, reporting, dashboards, and analytics that drive measurable business impactLead the interpretation and presentation of analytical findings to business partners and leadershipDeliver predictive and prescriptive analytics to support strategic decision-makingAnalyze large, complex datasets; investigate anomalies; and recommend data-driven resolutionsPartner cross-functionally with business stakeholders and Data & Digital (D&D) teams to define meaningful metrics and support enterprise initiativesEnsure adherence to data governance standards and best practices in data visualizationIdentify process improvement opportunities and contribute innovative, forward-thinking solutionsCore Competencies & ExpectationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutionsExceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to executive and senior leadership audiencesCollaborative, data-driven mindset with strong technical acumenAbility to balance long-term strategic initiatives with urgent short-term prioritiesCreative thinker who can distill complex data into simple, actionable recommendationsSkilled at building influence through relationship development, thoughtful framing of insights, and consistent delivery of high-quality workEmbodies and models Crown's PURPLE valuesEducationBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field requiredExperience & Qualifications5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and modeling with a proven track record of solving moderately complex business problemsExperience working with diverse data sources and incorporating multiple variables into analytical frameworksDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environmentTechnical ExpertiseAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills requiredExperience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Power Automate requiredProficiency in one or more programming/statistical languages preferred (SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, SAS, VBA)Strong ServiceNow experience, including dashboard development and database view creationExperience with data mining techniques and predictive analytics requiredStrong background in statistical modeling, including regression analysis, log-linear regression, and variable selection
