Role: Business Analyst

Job Description
- Individual must demonstrate strong multi-tasking setting priorities based upon minimal direction including:
- Strong experience in writing of complex SQL queries to extract and validate the data from the database
- Proficient in creating, executing SQL queries in Oracle, SAS and/or Teradata or other reporting tools / languages for reporting purposes
- Strong proficiency with tools, language MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS SharePoint, MS Visio
- Understanding of NCQA HEDIS quality measures and code value sets.
- Experience in analyzing and data cleansing of raw data with strong working knowledge of programming, work with various applications of ETL, reporting, data mining.
- Familiar with HIX (Health Insurance Exchange), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), EHR (Electronic Health Record) types of data collection.
- Strong interpersonal skill set including ability to support in partner relationship between health plan & provider/vendor community.
- Demonstrate strong initiatives in self-learning with independent trouble shooting, identifying issues and solutioning skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to shared goal.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into structured, easy-to-understand reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and facilitating meetings.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing project priorities simultaneously.
