Business Analyst (Pharma Domain)Location: Peapack, NJDuration: 6 monthsWe are seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in supporting Project, a strategic initiative focused on Sample Logistics optimization, digital integration, and scalable inventory management for ADCs, proteins, and related materials.This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering and Analysiso Elicit and document business requirements for digital systems integration(Freezer Works, Hamilton SAML, Omni tracker, CART).o Collaborate with stakeholders to define future-state processes for sample logistics and inventory management.Process Optimizationo Support initiatives like automated sample storage, aliquoting optimization and shipping logistics workflows.Project Deliveryo Contribute to planning and execution of digital deliverables, including Unified Fulfillment System and integration with vendor systems.o Assist in creating work breakdown structures and dependency mapping for Project Lift workstreams.Stakeholder Communicationo Act as liaison between technical teams and business units to validate requirements and manage change.Compliance and Qualityo Ensure adherence to company SOPs, regulatory guidelines (FDA, cGMP cGLP), and data integrity standards.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or Supply Chain Management.Experience Proven experience (e.g., 4-6 years) as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.Technical Proficiency and Core Competencieso Strong experience in business analysis for digital transformation projects.o Familiarity with inventory management systems (Freezer Works, Titian Mosaic) and sample logistics workflows.o Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques, documentation, and stakeholder management.o Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, ALM).o Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.o Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), ERP systems, or other logistics supply chain software is essential.o Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with experience in creating reports and dashboards (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).o Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile Scrum and Waterfall).o Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience in pharma or biotech sample management. Understanding of integration between LIMS and automated storage systems. Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
