Business Analyst Om SupportWe are seeking a full-time Business Analyst OM Support at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for being instrumental in the execution of new features and driving onboarding solutions, for all order management applications globally.
The position is accountable for gathering, documenting, and communicating user requirements for projects of all sizes and complexity. This role also exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills that are necessary to succeed in this position, along with possessing excellent research and presentation skills whilst demonstrating proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures.Essential FunctionsServes as functional subject matter expert for application/technology solutions and related business processesCollaborates with global team members to understand & document business processesDocuments requirements of each projectWorks closely with business teams, global region experts and IT teams to understand, coordinate and test new systems, new system functionality, and new processesDocuments/coordinates documentation of test casesOrganizes setups requirements with global region experts and maintains/completes some base Oracle setupsPrepares training documentation, and trains global team members on new systems or process functionalityUnderstands discrepancies & gaps in process requirementsHolds business team associates & region experts accountable for deliverablesContributes to technical research on new technologiesCommunicates technical-related product issuesDrives continuous improvement to maximize quality and service, whilst reducing costsRecommends infrastructure modifications as neededMakes sure we adhere to local laws, customs and culturesDevelops and maintains stakeholder business relationshipsProvides monthly report to line Manager on successes and areas needing improvementsProfessionally approaches situations in which conflict is presentAbility for domestic and international travel as needed (15% of the time or greater)Must possess a willingness to be flexible for short notice or extended travel plansMust be willing and flexible to adjust hours to support international time zonesBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a substantially similar role or in Garmin Dealer SupportDemonstrates an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and changing environmentMust be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others in a global settingDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsSuperior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and qualityProficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPointDesired QualificationsGarmin experience across multiple departments or rolesExperience with effectively managing internationally distributed teamsAdditional LanguageProficient in JiraPrevious Oracle experienceGarmin product knowledgePrevious training experienceGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
