Business AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will be responsible for scoping systems, gathering project requirements, and translating business needs into detailed functional specifications. This role involves leading requirement reviews, working closely with designers and test teams, and participating in multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones.Responsibilities:Scope the system and gather project requirements, including the business requirementsWrite the project requirements in a clear, concise mannerTranslate business needs and technical issuesManage the project requirementsLead requirement reviewsCreate and maintain analysis or domain models for the requirementsLead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationshipsWork with the project designers and architects to make sure their designs conform to the project requirementsWork with the test team to make sure the tests adequately cover the requirementsRun the User Acceptance testsCreating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specificationsDelivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverablesDefine configuration specifications and business analysis requirementsRequirements:Degree in IT / Computer ScienceExperience working with Business ObjectsKnowledge of ITIL FoundationsEC modulesAbility to modify user exits, packages, class attributes and triggersPay range: $73.11 - $83.11 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
