Business Analyst OpportunitySeeking a C2C candidate located in the specified area.This RFQ is for the acquisition of one (1) or more full-time Business Analyst(s), to support the OIT in a potential multiyear effort to serve as a liaison between the business community and the OIT to provide technical solutions that meet Department’s needs. The Contractor Representative(s) should understand IT systems and capabilities, be able to analyze operations to find opportunities for process automation, and assist in business process redesign to translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, as described in the SOW.Mandatory QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or 5 years equivalent work experience.A minimum of 3 years of relevant technical or business work experience.Experience serving as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.Experience and expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities.Experience analyzing business unit operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.Experience assisting in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.Experience translating high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and managing changes to such specifications.Excellent communication and documentation skills.
