Business AnalystWe are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a large-scale federal program focused on application development and requirements management. This role will serve as a critical liaison between stakeholders and development teams, translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret detailed business requirements from multiple stakeholder groups (up to 10+ agencies)Review large-scale requirement documents (often 50+ pages) and break them down into structured, developer-ready specificationsCollaborate closely with software developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implementedProduce high-quality documentation in Microsoft Word, including functional specifications and supporting materialsFacilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teamsEvaluate scenarios and provide thoughtful analysis during discussions and decision-making processesRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar roleStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex informationExperience working directly with software development teamsProven ability to translate business requirements into technical specificationsHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working directly with developers and technical teams within an SDLC environment, including support of software releases or iterative development cyclesStrong technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation such as specification documents, user guides, and requirement artifactsAbility to analyze, synthesize, and translate large, complex requirements and stakeholder input into actionable specificationsExperience gathering and managing requirements across multiple stakeholders, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, requirements-heavy environmentsAbility to develop wireframes or mockups using tools such as Balsamiq, Figma, or similarStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business stakeholders and technical audiencesHighly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with strong critical thinking skillsExperience supporting federal or government-related projects is preferredCandidates must demonstrate authenticity in their experience, as resumes will be reviewed for AI-generated or inflated contentAdditional InformationThis is not a financial analyst or administrative/note-taking role—candidates must have hands-on experience performing true analytical workCandidates should be prepared to discuss scenario-based ("what-if") questions during the interview processWriting samples or demonstrated experience with documentation may be evaluated
