Business AnalystHybrid role tues/wedLooking for a seasoned BA with some Agile/Scrum expResponsibilities:Prioritizes the product backlog items and coordinates with stakeholders including the Product Owner, the market, executives, and the team to deliver maximum value and quality to the marketDevelops an understanding of the geospatial products and user base; uses this to guide product decisionsDevelops epics and user stories for all new functionality, presents user stories to product teams and ensures new functionality meets the acceptance criteriaPartners with stakeholders to help define Minimal Viable Product (MVP) that delivers incremental value; ensures MVP aligns with product vision and WBG strategic goalsWorks with Scrum team, Product Owner, Scrum Master, and others to do release planningWorks with other Product Owners to ensure dependencies are prioritized appropriately across teamsInspects, accepts, or rejects completed work from the sprintCommunicates work in progress and upcoming work to key stakeholdersRequirements:Master’s degree, majoring in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field3 years+ of successful agile planning and facilitating the complete life cycle of large-scale projects, with competing availability, priorities, and multiple stakeholdersExperience defining requirements and writing user storiesExperience and/or knowledge with widely successful Agile techniquesDemonstrated exposure in the design, development, and implementation of data toolsPrior hands-on background in GIS software systems, preferably in a data intensive environmentProficient in MS Word, MS Power Point MS Project, MS Excel, Version One, Azure Board, JIRAStrong communications skills (both written and oral), strong customer service and excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen and understand what is being described by the end user as well as the ability to explain problem resolutions when necessaryAbility to work independently without direct supervision or guidance
