Business Analyst IIPerforms business requirements gathering, market research, user groups, product management. Works with clients to understand their requirements of the system; documents and maintains deliverables (requirements document, configuration design document, etc.); documents process workflow and assists with solution design; works with product development to communicate the client’s needs and provide business case for enhancement requests; builds and configures system based on design; ensures configuration meets requirements and works as expected; accountable for assigned functional track and deliverables, and assists QA and support with understanding client needs; creates and maintains deliverables within assigned area; participates in testing the product before it is released to the client; assists in triaging escalated system defects and/or providing clarification on defects and works to resolve them; collaborates and provides support to teams during implementation as well as post go live; provides support to SMEs for client training initiatives; provides support for internal training events as necessary; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected; develops requirements for data mapping and data loading processes. Executes data mapping/loading requirements and reconciliation of such activities; acts as subject matter expert to key stakeholders.
Maintains compliance with policies, procedures, and mission statement; adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within operating policies and procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and fulfills those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided for achieving operational and financial success of the employer.Minimum of 4 years of experience as a software business analyst; minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare/specialty pharmacy related environment; must be familiar with healthcare/pharmacy system designs and concepts; possesses excellent communication, organizational, and observational skills; proficient problem-solving skills with good judgment and decision making; must be goal-oriented and focused; work well as a member of a team; this person will be doing more of gathering business requirements, market research, product management; experience with data management, data analysis, and visualization tools; familiarity with databases and SQL is a plus; strong organizational skills and attention to detail, comfortable working with minimum direction; adaptable to changing organizational requirements and priorities and supportive of a diverse workforce; ability to collaborate with others in diplomatic, tactful manner, while exercising sensitivity and discretion as needed; advanced PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and other programs); and excellent written and verbal communication skills.Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time); exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force; frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions; subject to inside environmental conditions; and travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
