Job TitleInterview: Virtual Visa: Any except h1b Hybrid: Columbus, OH and Dallas, TXNotes from Manager:As a reminder, I need everyone I hire to have general BA skills: Defining and documenting business requirements, process mapping and analysis, writing user stories that will feed into development team refinement sessions, documenting acceptance criteria, being the liaison for the business in IT discovery and prioritization meetings, running refinement sessions, participate in discovery and completion of the estimation model, coordinate QA and UAT, facilitate the CAB change management process. As they are all project or delivery team specific, I also need this particular person to have relevant experience:Must Have:Data literacy, SQL proficiency, understanding data warehousing & ETL processes, data modeling concepts, proficiency in visualization and BI tools, data governance and quality awarenessTasks and Responsibilities:The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define business problems, objectives and scope of new projectsPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsCollaborate with business stakeholders and technology team members to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for new products and cross-platform features & enhancementsDocument business requirements in an organized, traceable mannerTranslate vision, business needs & requirements to business stakeholders and development teamsCollaborate with business stakeholders and technology team members to define product concepts and technical solution designsEvaluate technology solutions, including off-the-shelf components, to ensure that they meet business requirementsTranslate technical solutions and constraints to businessDevelops business case including solutions approach options, benefits, impact assessment, risks, assumptions & product cost/benefitAssist in the development of roadmaps, release plans & project planning activitiesAssist in the analysis and definition of user stories to support grooming activitiesEvaluate technology deliveries meet business objectivesSupport the development of user acceptance and quality assurance testsCollaborate with project stakeholders to manage scope, requirements and organizational change management required to adopt processes and technology delivered by the projectMinimum Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experienceCBAP Certification preferred.3+ years of professional experience as an IT business analyst or comparable role, on medium/large-scale software development projectsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Proven experience in gathering requirements, process mapping, and stakeholder management within data and data quality projects or supporting BI&A teamsExperience with projects implementing or enhancing new applications (enterprise and mobile)Experience writing requirements for projects with heavy integrations, lots of APIs, understanding of middlewareKnowledge of ETL, SQL UX/UI preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizationsAbility to build strong partnerships and influence decision makers as well as process and technology adoptionProactively understand functional business areas and how they interact/overlap with each otherExperience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniquesExtensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiativesStrong Business AcumenExperience in defining and maturing business capability road maps
