Business Analyst – Equities Linked Technology Pricing & Quoting

Vice President Business AnalystEquity Linked Technology supports the Equity Client Solutions business within Client's Global Banking and Markets Group. The team provides innovative solutions to speed equity derivatives trading, facilitate sales, assess risk and P&L, ensure efficient execution, and promote e-commerce. We aim to maintain a global perspective while recognizing and responding to the specific regional requirements that make each market unique.This role is as a Vice President Business Analyst within the Equity Linked Technology – Pricing & Quoting group.

The applications developed by the Pricing & Quoting development teams are used globally by traders & marketers to manage their quoting workflow, price derivative products and book trades. We are seeking to expand our product coverage and improve workflows across our global user population. As a BA within our organization, you will be working closely with developers, other BA's and the equities business to analyze, document and design solutions to complex technological and business problems.

The successful applicant will be responsible for collaborating globally within the Equity Linked Technology divisions and their business partners. The daily responsibilities of this role include:Interacting with and gathering requirements from front office users (trading, sales, desk heads, etc.).Translating these business requirements into clear specify-by-example requirements for dev.Working closely with the dev team throughout the development process.Identifying and communicating project risks and issues where required.Participating in meetings with the tech partners/business and providing status updates of the ongoing tasks.Working closely with business partners to ensure solutions are an optimal combination of technology features and changing business processes where applicable.Must have:3+ years of experience as business analyst or equivalent business knowledge from a business facing role, ideally in equity derivativesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExperience working directly with Front Office lines of business and collaborating with business partners.Beneficial:Working knowledge of short cycle software development and impact on business analysis.Experience with Equity Derivatives, especially pricingExperience with Structured/Exotic products.Experience with large, complex technology systemsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
