POSITION OVERVIEW
This role sits within the Information Technology and Software Asset Management department, reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager, and is designed to solve critical software compliance, visibility, and procurement reconciliation bottlenecks for the client. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate software entitlement, contract, and purchase order data within Flexera to support seamless asset governance and audit readiness.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review software contracts, purchase orders, invoices, renewals, and vendor licensing documentation to extract precise software entitlement details
• Enter and maintain entitlement, purchase, maintenance, renewal, and contract data accurately within Flexera or comparable SAM platforms
• Validate purchase order details against contract and entitlement records while reconciling procurement records with core SAM data
• Interpret and document complex software licensing models including perpetual, subscription, named user, device-based, concurrent, and tiered structures
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Vendor Management, Finance, and IT stakeholders to resolve data inconsistencies and ensure strong data governance
