Remote Contract General

Business AnalystDorchester, MA 6 Months Contract Duration: - Possibility of extensions and/or becoming a full-time employee Location: - Remote until COVID restrictions are lifted; then onsiteDuties & Responsibilities• Serves as the bridge between end users (internal and external) and the IT Department through which user communication and requirements flow. • Serves as an IT business SME on business topics to stakeholders. • Facilitates/oversees the analysis and design of technology solutions to ensure business needs are met. • Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and requirements to deliver system artifacts as needed.

• Manages and ensures traceability of approved and baselined work products through the software development lifecycle to include application specifications, design, development, usability, testing, implementation, and defect prioritization. • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process. • Collaborates with subject matter experts to establish the testing approach including usability and performance needs. • Provides certification and actively participates in defect management activities to confirm requirements are being met.

• Manages change control for affected system artifacts. • Takes full ownership of identifying and recognize issues and problems, and then work with management, business sponsors, and others within the organization to prioritize and drive the issues to closure and resolution. This may require creative problem solving. • Ensures QA best practices are being followed.
