Business AnalystLocation: Chicago (Preferred) or Fully Remote Duration: 12 monthsJob Summary: The Business Analyst is responsible for documenting detailed business requirements and project scope. Includes user stories, business & workflow analysis and architecture diagrams. Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details.
Distinguishes client requests from the underlying business needs. Responsible for developing epics and stories with the product owner to support the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Formulates and defines system's scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of the application, business, operational and/or industry requirements.
Works with internal business groups on process improvement projects and is involved in testing, training and implementing applications and/or systems. Serve as a liaison between business functions and program managers. Identify and implement business process improvements.
