Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. Nightwing is seeking a Business Analyst to support this critical customer mission.The Business Analyst will facilitate use case identification, requirements gathering, and stakeholder coordination for technology integration initiatives.
This role ensures technology insertions align with mission goals, operational priorities, and measurable outcomes while managing stakeholder expectations and communication.Responsibilities:Lead use case identification and prioritization activities with mission stakeholdersGather and document requirements for technology integration pilotsFacilitate stakeholder workshops and coordination meetingsTranslate mission pain points into technology capability requirementsDevelop business cases and value propositions for technology insertionsDefine measurable objectives and success criteria for pilot initiativesCoordinate between technical teams and operational stakeholdersDocument operational workflows and identify friction points for automationSupport governance review processes with business impact analysisDevelop metrics frameworks for measuring pilot and production outcomesCreate stakeholder communications and status reportsManage requirements traceability throughout integration lifecycleSupport leadership alignment activities with briefings and documentationFacilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement processesEnsure pilot scope discipline and clear exit/transition decisionsRequired Skills:U.S. CitizenshipActive DoD Secret; TS/SCI preferredAbility to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability5+ years of experience as a business analyst or requirements analystStrong requirements gathering and documentation skillsExperience with use case development and user story creationKnowledge of business process analysis and improvement methodologiesExcellent facilitation and stakeholder management skillsExperience with project coordination and trackingStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with business analysis tools and techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired Skills:Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programsBackground in technology assessment or capability evaluationKnowledge of cybersecurity operations and mission environmentsExperience with agile requirements managementFamiliarity with cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculationsExperience developing metrics and performance measurement frameworksUnderstanding of federal governance and decision-making processesRequired Education:BS in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related degree; or HS Diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experienceDesired Certifications:DoD 8140 IAT Level IIITIL, CBAP, PMI-PBASaFESyndeo: ESS-3427At Nightwing, we value collaboration and teamwork.
