Job TitleBusiness Analyst/Application DeveloperJob DescriptionThe Business Analyst/Application Developer supports the development, enhancement, and sustainment of mission-critical applications while delivering analytical products in support of AFCJIC and Department of the Air Force (DAF) requirements. This role collaborates with project managers, designers, QA teams, and functional stakeholders to translate business and operational needs into secure, reliable applications and actionable data insights.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Collaborate with the project manager and UI/UX designer to translate wireframes and mockups into a fully functional applicationDevelop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and reliable codeIntegrate with third-party APIs for features such as user authentication, messaging, and data analyticsImplement security best practices to protect user data and ensure the integrity of the applicationConduct unit testing and work with the OSI QA team to identify and resolve bugsParticipate in agile development ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectivesCollection and presentation of recurring and ad hoc analytical reports regarding DAF information contained within applicable indexing systems. Integrate efforts with functional field elements and Case Management System (CMS) teams regarding analytical products/dataProvide applicable analytical responses to Congressional, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Agency Release, DoW, DAF, and functional elements regarding information under the control of AFCJICWorks directly for the Director, Criminal Indexing Support Directorate, and must be able to perform well in a remote positionQualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:In depth knowledge of the Appian Platform (analyst and developer) is required.Strong analytical and reporting skills, including data collection, analysis, and presentationUnderstanding of data security principles and protection of sensitive or controlled informationAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote work environmentMinimum Qualifications:Minimum 3 years' experience as an application developer and producing analytical reportsMust have a Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related fieldAppian developer certification is preferredPay and BenefitsAt Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
