Business Analyst – Alternate Assets LocationBoston, MA, 2-3 days hybrid Contract- 9/9 to 12/27 - 3 months, with a possibility of extension Please make sure the candidate knows it's a three months contract.Essential Requirements and ResponsibilitiesWrite user stories for alternative asset platform featuresPartner with stakeholders across business units (ex: portfolio managers, quants, marketing, operations, risk, compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative wayCommunicating effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders, occasionally providing senior leadership with monthly status reportsEvaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirementsAuthor and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver business requirements and documentationSeven or more years of experience in a business analyst or technical role within a financial institutionKnowledge of alternative assets/investments (real estate, private equity, private credit)Understanding of back-office operations (portfolio management/trading/compliance systems)Proven analytical abilitiesStrong familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience in generating process documentation and reportsExcellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insightsStrong working knowledge of other Microsoft applications, including VisioProven ability to manage projects and user testingExtensive experience with data visualizationTechnical writing (user stories, functional requirements, etc)
