Cope Of The Project: Multiple It ProjectsRole will work with SCDOT IT project teams and business units in defining project technical requirements. Gather existing documentation on workflows, policies, and procedures along with any existing system documentation. Document high-level requirements in a statement of need.

Perform follow up detailed workflow analysis on prioritized IT projects including business process flow diagrams and definition of reporting and dashboard needs. Work with senior IT staff to assist in developing application requirements and high-level application architecture, web services, data conversion, and interface needs. Role will then participate in implementation, configuration, and testing to ensure requirements are met.Required skills (rank in order of importance): business process discovery and analysis, meeting facilitation and communication skills, assessment of existing systems and definition of improved or new application requirements, workflow diagramming, requirements documentation.Preferred skills (rank in order of importance): database design, high-level application architecture, web services, transportation related knowledge and experience.Required education: bachelor's degree.
