Hours per Day: 5.75-7.25 (Mon. - Fri.) Duty Days Per Year: 171 Type of Position: Continuing Description: St. Francis Area Schools has an opening for Bus Educational Assistants who have a desire to work with children with special needs as they travel to and from school. Salary: $17.80 Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; CPR and First Aid training is required, but if applicant does not have this training, the Transportation Department will train. Job Summary: Assist students with special needs as they are transported to and from school. Interact with families and school personnel to help ensure smooth transitions from home to bus to school.
