Harbor Light Facility SupervisorSupervise the day-to-day operations of the Harbor Light facility and support specialists ensuring the overall efficient, effective, and safe operation of the facility.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesTake control of the facility by walking around observing people, property and events taking placeMaintain accurate documentation regarding supervised staffMonitor staff, clients, residents, church members and visitorsGive supervision, training, direction and assistance to the Support SpecialistsAssist staff in maintaining order and efficiency in the performance of their responsibilitiesInvestigate all serious occurrences/issues that take place during the shiftCommunicate verbally and in writing, to the Site Operations Supervisor, all serious occurrences/issues that take place during the shift on the next business daySummarize and record the shift report in the daily logQualificationsAbility to communicate effectively through spoken and written wordTB Test and police clearance requiredAuthorization to work in the United StatesEducation/ExperienceMust possess a high school diploma or equivalentMinimum of two years practical experience as a SupervisorPossess a working knowledge of addiction recoveryComputer SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email and internetExperience using electronic medical records system preferredReasoning AbilityUnderstand and work within The Salvation Army and Harbor Light Mission StatementsPossess an excellent working knowledge of The Harbor Light Policies and ProceduresThe Salvation Army offers the following benefits:Health Care Benefits which include:MedicalDentalVisionHearingFlexible spending accountsAFLACVoluntary life insurance benefitsShort-Term and Long-Term Disability optionsPet InsurancePension contributions (currently 6.0% of your earnings) begin the first quarter after 1 year of employment.Vesting starts after three years of employment, 100% vested after five years of employmentThe Salvation Army also offers a 403(b) voluntary retirement savings plan in which you may participate immediately, with approved vendors.
