City Of Eustis Building Maintenance WorkerThe City of Eustis is seeking a trustworthy, responsible individual who, under general direction, performs journeyman level work involving the construction, alteration, maintenance and repair of City buildings, structures and equipment; recommends most efficient and cost-effective methods of planned construction, renovation or repair. Ability to make estimates of time and materials; ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with city employees and the general public; ability to carry out assignments with minimum instructions; ability to read and write English; ability to drive a vehicle; ability to work on-call, if required, including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to remain at a city work shelter, before, during and after a hurricane or other storm or disaster, if asked Skill in the use of tools, materials and equipment common to the trade. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or recognized equivalent; supplemented by three (3) years experience in building trades.
Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License with an acceptable driving record required. Other related experience may be considered.Supplemental InformationSalary Information: $19.05 per hour EXCELLENT benefits (Note: See Benefits Tab for more information). Following a thorough background investigation including a criminal history and driver's license check, the candidate will be given a conditional offer of employment.
