Building And Grounds Operations SpecialistGovernor Wentworth Regional School District is looking for a Building and Grounds Operations Specialist.

Responsibilities include performing operational duties of the buildings and grounds by assisting the Facility Supervisor as directed and ensuring that all facilities and properties operate effectively and efficiently. This is a full time position working Monday thru Friday afternoon/evening shift. Hours are tentatively 1pm - 9pm.Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentGeneral work experience, including trades or labor, or custodial workEducation or training in maintenance trades may substitute for work experienceMust have a valid driver's license for operation of a motor vehicle in New HampshireKnowledge of common hand tools; basic record keeping techniques; basic workplace safety procedures; basic use of personal computers to access and maintain automated recordkeeping tools and email; basic customer service practicesAbility to learn the functions of and use a variety of tools and power equipment; perform assigned tasks independently and ask for supervision or guidance as needed; understand and follow oral and written directions; work from blue prints, shop drawings and sketches; establish and maintain cooperative working relationshipsWork is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions. Position involves frequent bending, standing, kneeling climbing ladders, reaching below and above shoulders, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. while performing job duties. Wrist, hand and finger dexterity is required to operate various equipment and materials.
