Job Description:
- Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on HVAC equipment and related building systems
- Support day-to-day building operations across a 135,000 sq. ft., two-story multi-use office facility
- Complete general maintenance tasks including moving furniture, ceiling tile repair, and routine facility upkeep
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical work as needed to support facility operations
- Maintain and service refrigeration units and freezers to ensure reliable operation
- Assist with event setup and support workplace readiness for meetings and site activities
- Conduct scheduled PMs and respond to building maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain work orders, complete basic reporting, and communicate updates as needed
- Support safe and efficient building operations while complying with all site safety protocols and applicable regulations
- Work independently while coordinating with the Facilities Manager on priorities and site needs
- 5+ years of building engineering, HVAC, or commercial facilities maintenance experience
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience
- General maintenance experience in a commercial building environment
- Basic plumbing and electrical experience
- 06A License - required
- Universal Refrigerant License - required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily building maintenance responsibilities
- City of Seattle Refrigerant License - highly preferred
- Experience supporting refrigeration systems and freezers
- Additional advanced mechanical, electrical, or facilities-related technical skills
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities
- Trade school or technical training in HVAC, facilities maintenance, or a related field
