Building Engineer
Bill Rate: $32-35/HR on W2 Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm with some OT Location: 905 Pearly Parkway, Charlotte, NC
Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: 60,000 sq ft office building Candidate will be working closely with the client, so a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills are required.
Team Overview: Reporting to an FM but will be working mostly independently Resource's typical working day: Maintain Client Painting/patching General carpentry Basic mechanical Troubleshoot and PM HVAC equipment Basic plumbing Daily and weekly reporting
Licenses/Certifications: HVAC license preferred
Must Have Skills: Client experience Basic mechanical Troubleshoot and PM HVAC equipment Basic plumbing Great written and verbal and written communication skills Reliability
Nice to have skills: Any additional trainings/certs that have helped to advance skills needed for this role Firelife safety procedures
Soft Skills: Candidate will be working closely with the client, so a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills are required. Proper attire for a high profile office building is required. Years of Experience: 5+ years Education H.S. diploma or GED required, trade school preferred Software skills: Client system knowledge is a must Microsoft Office - Excel - Word - SharePoint - Outlook
Interview Process: 1st round virtual (Teams), 2nd round in-person including site tour and meet with client
