The position will work independently to meet project requirements with limited supervision. The programmer will be responsible for programming, configuring, and testing of Direct Digital Control (DDC) building automation and control systems.
The senior control technician will be assigned to the North Little Rock Arkansas office, but the primary work responsibility will involve working within the 7 State area of the 63d Readiness Division, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.Responsibilities/Duties:Update/make corrections to existing JACEs so they are fully compliant with current EBCS standardsCorrect abnormalitiesOnce corrections are made to JACE, integrate to ARIMD server using VirtualsParticipate in all EBCS Stakeholders and Working Group meetingsCoordinate and communicate with contractors to assure successful projectAssist with QAQCUpdate/make corrections to existing JACEs so they are fully compliant with current EBCS standardsCorrect abnormalitiesOnce corrections are made to JACE, integrate to ARIMD server using VirtualCoordinate and communicate with contractors to assure successful projectAssist with QAQC of controlsMonitor HVAC and controls through EMCS and EBCS systemsIdentify HVAC/controls issues – failed sensors, overrides, functionality problemsReport above to RFOS for corrective measuresVerify corrective measures have been performedAttend EBCS SummitsCollaborate with OCAR-ARIMD Sustainment ManagerCoordinate and work with 63 rd Energy Manager.Design and engineer control system hardware and software programming based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documentsAbility to program projects with various levels of complexityCapable of performing network troubleshooting, database troubleshooting and repair programmingCollaborates with the engineering team on the system configuration, network and software requirements, graphics, programming, and sequences of operationsDevelop and configure the sequence of operations, programming, graphics, database, network, and integrations into third party systemsMaintains accurate and thorough project documentation and redlinesProvides owner training as required by the projectExecutes system commissioning and functional testingAssist in installation of control hardwareStartup and commission new hardware installationsProvide project management assistance on projects as required, interfacing directly to customersSupervise sub-contractors and suppliers as neededHelp educate lower-level technicians through on the job training as needed*This position will require a minimum of 25% travelExperience & EducationProficient in Niagara N4 Framework.
