Systems Engineer IIIThe Systems Engineer III will coordinate control system planning, installation, programming, and commission. The responsibilities include all technical aspects of project installation in the field. In this role, the System Engineer III will also coach and mentor other project engineers.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSystems Engineer I and II requirements and the following duties:Develop and program a written sequence of operations based on mechanical drawings.Lead and schedule commissioning effortsActively participate in LEED commissioning and coordination meetingsUnderstand the design of mechanical equipment and systems.Chiller, Boiler, Custom AHU's, Primary/Secondary pumping, Variable flow Chilled water plants, Clean Room Applications, Demand ResponseDesign and implement complex electrical control circuits.Hardwired Interlocks and Relay logicProvide solutions for energy-saving opportunities and potential scopes of work for control implementation.Perform training for Systems Engineer I and II.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.10 + years of direct automation experience with control systems and programming required.Working knowledge of at least three HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, Distech, JCI or Andover)Knowledge of mechanical systemsAbility to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level.Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking.A valid driver's license is required.Equal Opportunity EmployerAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
