Holly, Burlington County NJ. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for researching and analyzing budget variances on the monthly financial statements of the organization.
Works on other projects as directed.Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday, 40 hoursSalary: $55,000 to $65,000/yr.Responsibilities:Provides analytical and reconciliation support in the preparation of budget modificationsAssist management in documenting and forecasting expensesProactively communicate and collaborate with all levels of management to analyze expensesParticipatory team member that shares knowledge and communicates analysis progress and issues as neededAnalyzes financial information, makes journal entries and determines the most effective means of handling accounting transactionsParticipates in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports which accurately reflect the financial position of the agencyPrepares and updates annual budget templatesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter expertsBenefits:Competitive salarySupplemental incomeMedical, Dental, Vision, 403(b)Generous paid time off benefitsOpportunity for personal and career growthTeam oriented environment – we practice the FISH! PhilosophyQualifications:Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Accounting or Finance;Two (2) years' experience working in accounting or financial forecasting skills preferred;Excellent customer service skills;Proficient in MS Excel, including multiple worksheet files and macros; and word processing softwareDetail oriented, strong organization and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlinesExperience managing multiple priorities with ability to make changes when neededExperience working in a team environmentPrior budget, forecasting, and expense experienceStrong knowledge of Excel (knowledge of macros is a plus)Valid Driver's License required.All positions require a valid driver's license in good standing, and pre-employment drug screening.
