With our competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, we have the right opportunities to fit your life and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is looking for a Budget Analyst.This position is not location specific and can be supported virtually.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Compiles and reviews budgets for organizational units using proposal forecasts, actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administrationPrepares financial plans, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and material forecasts, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budgetMonitor compliance of financial policies, interpret policies for non-routine activitiesSet up of IWOs and networks for projects as neededSubmit correction entries to Accounting as neededOther duties and special projects as assignedInteracting with personnel and management at all levelsFrequent interaction with various functions and multiple layers of the organizationBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in business management, accounting, finance, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree in business management, accounting finance or related field with 1 year of relevant experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systemsExperience working in team settings with successful resultsPreferred Qualifications:Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsCOGNOS system experienceCOBRA/EVMS knowledge or experienceExperience developing and applying solutions through process improvementsSalary Range: $56,300.00 - $84,500.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
