The Budget Analyst will assist in the preparation and coordination of the City's annual budget and will participate in the preparation of the long-range forecast.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintenance of the City's general ledger in connection with the proper recording of revenues and expenses, analysis and review of financial transactions in preparation of the quarterly and annual financial reports, and reconciliation of various accounts. The Budget Analyst will participate in various department core functions such as annual budget, year-end audit and CAFR preparation as well as assist periodically in reviewing and/or updating financial procedures for accuracy and completeness.
