They are analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of presenting clear financial insights to leadership in a high-visibility DoD environment.Seeking a cleared, mid-level Budget Analyst to support a fast-paced Department of Defense (DoD) program office in Huntsville, AL.This role focuses on managing key elements of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle, providing financial oversight, cost analysis, and SAP-based financial system support.The ideal candidate brings strong experience with GFEBS, LMP, SAP Financials, and Army ERP systems, along with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on PPBE support using:Army General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)Army Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)Equivalent ERP and BI platformsAnalyze and resolve SAP Financials and Asset Management issuesSupport:GFEBS transaction code troubleshootingDormant Account Review – Quarterly (DAR-Q) reconciliationProject Management Resource Tools (PMRT)Army CCaR system recordsResolve SAP IDoc errors involving:Government Purchase CardsDefense Travel System (DTS)Purchase RequisitionsPurchase OrdersResolve:Unmatched transactionsUnliquidated Obligations (ULOs)Analyze civilian payroll postings and correct erroneous budget entriesSupport Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiativesPrepare:Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)Sales OrdersPurchase RequisitionsPurchase OrdersMilitary Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs)Evaluate and resolve DCPS and ATAAPS errors after payroll executionDevelop financial analysis and cost reports for leadershipRequired QualificationsActive DoD Secret Security Clearance (Required)U.S. Citizenship (Required due to program sensitivity)Bachelor's degree from an accredited university10 years of relevant experience Master's degree may substitute for one year of experienceHighly proficient in:GFEBSArmy LMP softwareSAP FinancialsStrong knowledge of PPBE processExperience resolving SAP IDoc errors and financial system discrepanciesStrong analytical and presentation skillsProactive self-starter with strong organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with:Power BIPower QueryDashboard developmentExperience supporting Army financial systems in a program office environmentAudit support and FIAR experience
