To support high school students navigating the competitive BS/MD admissions process, the part-time remote BS/MD Physician Advisor will mentor clients by evaluating candidacy, editing application materials, and preparing them for interviews while collaborating closely with a College Advisor. Key responsibilities Develop strong working relationships with college advisors to support applicants throughout the application process Evaluate the candidacy of high school students, assessing academic performance and extracurricular activities Edit personal statements and supplemental essays, and prepare students for admissions interviews Required qualifications MD or DO physician (attending preferred; residents and fellows considered) Successful graduate of a U.S. direct medical program (BS/MD, BA/MD, BS/DO, or BA/DO) Demonstrated firsthand knowledge of the BS/MD or BS/DO admissions process Experience mentoring or advising students applying to medical school or direct medical programs Strong editing and writing skills, particularly with college and BS/MD application materials
