Brokerage Operations Representative IIThe Brokerage Operations Representative II will be responsible for booking, tracking, routing, problem resolutions, vendor compliance, and relationship building between both the customer and carrier portfolios.Responsibilities include:Prospect qualified carriers by conducting daily sourcing calls in order to secure consistent truck capacity, who must meet AIT TS's compliance guidelinesEstablish, maintain, and grow customer & carrier relationships within your assigned portfolio both internal and externalBook all contract expedite and ad-hoc freight, as required by customerRespond to customer quotations in a timely manner (5 min)Proactively track and trace all booked shipments on a daily basisTroubleshoot and resolve customer issues including communication on carrier delays, breakdowns, and other order exceptionsCommunicate accessorial charges to the customer in a timely manner to ensure approval and maximum revenue per load, as neededHandle overages, shortages, accessorial, and freight claims properlyOwn corrective actions and identify overall process improvementEnsure all metrics are at or exceeding customer SLA'sBook remaining modes or transportation (including FTL, Partial, Flatbed) as neededSchedule appointments for pick ups and deliveriesHelp prepare and actively participate in customer reviews (i.e. QBR's, MBR's)Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsThe wage range for this position is $20.90-$29.50 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. Additional bonus percentage for each individual load booked (No load count threshold at this time). AIT reserves the right to change the program at any time for any reason.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required) and Associate's Degree (Preferred) or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)Experience: 3+ years Experience in logistics / transportation (Required)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Microsoft Office Suite Medium, Transportation Management System (TMS) Medium, Ability to problem solve, make independent decisions with minimal oversight MediumWhat AIT Can Offer You:In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
