Purpose
This job contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by promoting ongoing sales growth and client retention through the recruitment and management of broker relationships on a regional level.
Reporting
This position reports to the SVP of Broker Sales or the VP of Broker Sales and does not supervise others.
Essential Duties
- Prospects, obtains, and develops successful broker relationships on a regional to national level to maintain profitable sales growth. Researches, identifies, and recommends new business leads.
- Continually establishes new agent relationships
- Cold calls to obtain new business opportunities. Develops relationships with brokers, agents, accounting firms, CPAs, etc. to generate client referrals.
- Develops and presents proposals and client specific solutions.
- Educates brokers about the FrankCrum product line and provides updates and retraining on an ongoing basis.
- Trains brokers on how to market and sell the FrankCrum product line.
- Maintains professional licensing and technical knowledge by establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies and online webinars.
- Develops and manages the External Sales Department’s budgets.
- Send out a minimum of two Constant Contact campaigns per month in addition to adding new contacts monthly.
- Maintains Lead Trackers
- Meet monthly goals in regard to number of RFP’s submitted
- Attends business meetings, trade shows, networking events, seminars, and conferences as directed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Ability to speak, see, and hear.
- Ability to use hands and arms to reach, handle, and operate various office machines including, but not limited to a printer, copier, mouse, keyboard, and telephone.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle.
Work Environment
The work environment is home office based and requires frequent regional travel.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of business-to-business sales experience involving the insurance industry.
- Valid state insurance sales license.
- Valid driver’s license.
