Bridge Project EngineerWe are currently searching for an experienced Bridge Project Engineer to support our Gulf Region located in Little Rock, AR.To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, Professional Engineering Licensure and 5 years of bridge design experience.What you'll be doing:Perform/supervise calculations and analysis for designing bridge and transportation structures using various bridge design software programsPerform/supervise load ratings on bridges of various type size and complexityReview calculations and design details developed by othersAttend meetings with clients and other professionals and organizationsDevelop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule, and project constraintsReview construction related submittalsOrganize and maintain project filesSupervising and mentoring Structural EITs and InternsAssist with marketing bridge and structure design workWhat you need to have:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMaster of Engineering preferred, but not requiredValid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)5 to 9 years of engineering experience in bridge designDOT experience is strongly preferredSkilled in the use of the following software is strongly preferred:OpenRoads DesignerOpenBridge DesignerSTAADCSi BridgeMIDASAASHTOWARE BrRMathcadTechnical expertise for the layout & design of bridges and related highway structuresFamiliarity with rehabilitation of existing bridges and highway structuresKnowledge of AASHTO and other pertinent bridge design specificationsFamiliarity of DOT bridge standards and design manuals is strongly preferredAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
