Candidates must have a MD/DO and Board Certification or Eligibility in General Surgery. Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology or Breast Surgery is preferred.

The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville seeks a full-time academic breast surgeon at the non-tenure accruing level of clinical assistant, associate, or professor. The level of academic appointment will be dependent on qualifications.

Major responsibilities include building a robust clinical practice, delivering high quality, evidence-based surgical care, actively mentoring general surgery residents and medical students, and contributing to a robust research mission. No emergency general surgery call is required.
