SSM Health St. Marys Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Breast Surgeon for a high-impact, leadership-ready role within one of the region's most active and respected breast programs. The physician will inherit a well-established, predominantly outpatient practice with immediate access to a robust referral base, experienced staff, and consistent case volume. This unique opportunity also features a faculty appointment with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, blending clinical excellence with academic engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based breast surgical care
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered treatment across the care continuum
• Collaborate closely with oncology, radiology, and pathology teams
• Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and trainees
• Participate in clinical education, case discussions, and potential research initiatives
• Active participation in tumor boards and care coordination
• Partner across specialties to drive high-quality outcomes
• Contribute to program growth, innovation, and quality improvement

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology (or equivalent experience)
• Passion for multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care
• Interest in teaching, mentorship, and academic collaboration
• Strong communicator and team-oriented leader
