About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Breast Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant breast conditions at Peconic Bay Medical Center.
This opportunity is ideal for an established breast surgery specialist with dedicated fellowship training and experience delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Please note: This position is intended for experienced Breast Surgeons. New fellows and recent graduates are not being considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive surgical care for benign and malignant breast conditions.
- Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Perform breast surgical procedures at Peconic Bay Medical Center.
- Support patient-centered treatment planning and continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in General Surgery.
- Dedicated fellowship training or specialization in Breast Surgery.
- Demonstrated experience practicing as a Breast Surgeon.
- Active, unencumbered New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Important: Candidates who are new fellows or recent graduates without established breast surgery experience will not be considered.
