Breast Surgeon – Physician – Valley Health System – New Jersey

Job Overview

Valley Medical Group seeks an experienced, fellowship-trained breast surgeon to join our NAPBC-accredited Breast Center at the Valley Health System, a Commission on Cancer-accredited institution located in Paramus, New Jersey, under the Mount Sinai Health System umbrella.

Location

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ is less than 15 miles from Manhattan, offering a 370-bed acute care facility and a comprehensive cancer program.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and surgical care for patients with suspected or proven breast disease.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary case conferences and breast cancer program initiatives.
• Serve as a faculty member in Valley’s General Surgery Residency Program, offering teaching, mentorship, and academic engagement.
• Potential academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board eligible or board-certified in General Surgery.
• Fellowship-trained in Breast Surgery.
• Existing or eligibility for New Jersey Medical License.
• DEA and CDS required.

Salary Disclosure

Compensation range: $350K to $400K (not including bonuses or incentive compensation). Actual salary may vary based on experience, specialty, and institutional needs.
