Breast Surgeon

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a board-certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in Breast Surgery to join their expanding team in East Orlando. This employed position offers the opportunity to help launch and shape a growing breast surgery program within a highly collaborative, physician-led organization. The role focuses on expanding access to comprehensive breast care in a rapidly growing community, supported by robust infrastructure and administrative assistance.

Practice Info

• Employed opportunity within AdventHealth Medical Group, a 900+ physician, multi-specialty organization
• Dedicated block time in the Operating Room
• Established Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic
• Office conveniently located on the hospital campus
• Four robotic platforms, including three da Vinci Xi systems and one da Vinci 5 (DV5)
• Seven inpatient ORs (including two newly added in 2026) plus two ORs in the HOPD Ambulatory Surgery Center

Responsibilities

• Help launch and shape a growing breast surgery program
• Partner closely with campus and medical group leadership in shaping program development
• Advance specialty care growth
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to better serve the East Orlando community

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Breast Surgery (required)
• Board Certification in General Surgery (ABMS or AOA)
• Prior breast surgery experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Desire to thrive in a collaborative, collegial, and high-volume practice
• Experience preferred but not required
