Breast Surgeon

Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, is seeking a full-time breast surgeon to join its nationally accredited breast care center. Practice Info

• Join a successful, nationally accredited breast care center.
• Work alongside an accomplished breast surgeon, a dedicated breast surgery PA, and a full-time NP seeing high-risk patients.
• Comprehensive practice offering the full spectrum of breast health services, including a dedicated high-risk clinic and genetic testing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including breast radiologists, medical oncologists, nurse navigators, and social workers.
• Commitment to seeing newly diagnosed breast cancer patients within two business days.

• Provide world-class care for patients with both benign and malignant breast conditions.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Compensation

• $411,000 - $451,287 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity.

Shift & Schedule

• 4-day work week.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in general surgery (required).
• Fellowship training or additional experience in breast surgery (preferred).
• Potential for J-1 waiver sponsorship with pathway to Green Card (if desired) and immigration counsel support.
