Breast Radiologist

Rose Imaging Specialists is seeking an experienced Breast Radiologist to join Austin Breast Imaging in Austin, TX. This full-time position focuses 100% on breast imaging and procedures, offering a collegial work environment with no call or holiday requirements. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to a well-established practice known for personalized patient care and an excellent reputation in the Austin Area.

• Provide personalized care for patients with physician performed, hand-held ultrasound, and delivery of same-day results for all diagnostic exams
• Highly focused on contrast enhanced mammography
• Do not offer breast MRI

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in all aspects of breast imaging including mammography, breast US, breast related procedures including breast us biopsies, localization procedures, and stereotactic biopsies

Compensation

• Competitive Compensation
• The salary range for this position is $425,000-$550,000
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
• 3 or 4 day work week
• No call requirements
• No night shifts
• No holidays

Requirements

• A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal and communication skills is expected
• Fellowship highly preferred, but not required
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (or board-eligible for recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines)
• Preferred licensure in Texas or the ability to be Licensed in Texas
• MQSA Certified
