Breast Radiologist

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, is seeking a full-time Breast Radiologist. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dedicated radiology team at a 545-bed tertiary care facility and ACS-verified level 1 trauma center in Queens, NY. The position provides flexible hybrid remote and onsite work options, with productivity expectations aligned with delivering high-quality medical care to the community.

• Elmhurst Hospital Center is a 545-bed tertiary care facility and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center.

• The Elmhurst Radiology team consists of radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support staff.
• Flexible hybrid remote and onsite work options are available.

Responsibilities

• Interpret full range of breast imaging-mammography (including tomosynthesis), ultrasound and MRI.
• Perform image-guided procedures including FNA, core biopsy and needle and non-wire localizations.
• Communicate with referring physicians.
• Ensure timely report sign-off.
• Participate in department committees at the discretion of the Site Chair and System Chair.

Compensation

• Faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
• Compensation range from $520,000 to $520,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).

Requirements

• MD degree from an Accredited University
• Board certified in Radiology
• ACGME-accredited fellowship training in breast imaging
• Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
